Description:
The Board of County Commissioners, (the County) is requesting quaifications/proposals from Contractors/Operators, that are licensed to practice in the State of Florida for the Management and Operations of the County's Bus Transit System.

RFP DEADLINE:  January 30, 2020 no later than 3:30PM local time and will open immediately thereafter.

LATE SUBMITTALS RECEIVED AFTER THE FOREMENTIONED DEADLINE DATE, EITHER BY MAIL, OR OTHERWISE, WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND RETURNED UNOPENED.  THE TIME OF RECEIPT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE TIME RECEIVED IN THE PURCHASING AGENT’S OFFICE.  IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE FIRM FOR ASSURING THAT THE RFP IS RECEIVED IN THE PURCHASING OFFICE BY THE DESIGNATED DATE AND TIME.  NO FAXED, ELECTRONIC OR ORAL RFP WILL BE ACCEPTED.

OUR OFFICE IS CLOSED ON FRIDAY. PACKAGES SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO OFFICE OF CENTRAL PURCHASING ONLY TO ENSURE RECEIPT. WE ARE NOT A GUARANTEED OVERNITE FEDEX DELIVERY AREA. WE WILL ALSO BE CLOSED ON DEC 24, 25, 2019 AND JAN 1, 2020

Walton County Board of County Commissioners is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced Contractors/Operators for “Management and Operations” of the Walton Transit System. Walton County has been granted from FDOT with a Service Development Transit Grant for the procurement and operation of 4 - 28 passenger cut-a-way buses for a deviated-fixed route.

Only firms/teams that can provide all of the required services listed below will be considered for this contract.  Proposer may hire sub-consultants to be used for portions of the required services; however, the primary consultant shall be responsible for all of the work performed in accordance with the terms and conditions in the attached FDOT Grant No G1B08.
