Waterways and Beach Activities Ordinance 2022-02 re: Commercial Activity. Any use of Walton County Parks for Commercial Activity at any boat launching facility owned, leased, dedicated to, or maintained by the County will require a commercial bay permit issued by the County. No person shall conduct any Commercial Activity or utilize a Park in a manner that will result in Commercial Activity, whether landbased or from the water, without a permit. The yearly permits will expire June 1 of each year. The application can be filed at any time during the permit year by submitting online. The cost of the permit is $250.00 per year. Permits must be attached to the port side of the vessel, adjacent to the boat registration and to the tongue of the trailer. 

Permits require the following: 

1. The boat and trailer being permitted shall be owned/registered to the permitted operator. 

2. The boat and trailer must have current registration. 

3. Proof of a current Coast Guard captain's license (if required). 

4. Proof of a current Florida charter fishing license (if required). 

5. Proof of liability insurance of not less than $100,000.00 for general public liability per occurrence.
