Office of Public Information

The Office of Public Information functions as the public relations arm of the Walton County Board of County Commissioners by assisting the Administration, Commissioners and departments in communicating the goals and activities of the county government to the county's public, both internal and external.

The Office of Public Information serves as the media relations arm of the county and works with the media to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of information for the purpose of presentation to the public.

The Office of Public Information serves as the community relations arm for non-profit entities who seek information, partnerships or support from the county government.
