Old Seagrove Community Roadway and Drainage Improvement Project

The Old Seagrove Community Roadway and Drainage Improvement Project was initiated to address concerns from the community regarding the condition of the existing dirt roads, drainage and the feasibility of pedestrian facilities. The County has conducted several community meetings to understand those concerns from the community and discuss possible improvements for the area. The current plan options presented include providing asphalt roadways, modifying some roadways as one-way while other roadways remain two-way (to minimize the impact of the existing trees within the right-of-way), improving drainage within the right-of-way, and the option of providing pedestrian facilities.

These documents were provided at the Old Seagrove Community Roadway and Drainage Improvement Project Open House hosted by Commissioner Tony Anderson on February 22, 2023. Please note there are two separate typical sections provided for consideration: one typical includes pedestrian facilities and the other typical does not.
