The Walton County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualification and proposals for the design and construction for the interior and exterior build out of the Freeport Business Park and the renovation of the Planning Department at the South Walton Annex.

RFP closes October 3, 2017 no later than 10:00 AM local time and will open immediately thereafter.

Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 10:00 AM  1:00 PM on September 19, 2017 at the South Walton Annex Boardroom  Joint Conference Room located at 31 Coastal Centre Blvd., Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459.

LATE SUBMITTALS RECEIVED AFTER THE FOREMENTIONED DEADLINE DATE, EITHER BY MAIL, OR OTHERWISE, WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND RETURNED UNOPENED.  THE TIME OF RECEIPT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE TIME RECEIVED IN THE PURCHASING AGENT’S OFFICE.  IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE FIRM FOR ASSURING THAT THE RFP IS RECEIVED IN THE PURCHASING OFFICE BY THE DESIGNATED DATE AND TIME.  NO FAXED, ELECTRONIC OR ORAL RFP WILL BE ACCEPTED.

PROPOSERS ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR SUBMITTING PROPOSALS THAT MEET ALL PROVISIONS OF THIS RFP, AND FOR, ASSURING THAT PROPOSALS ARE RECEIVED IN THE PURCHASING OFFICE BY THE DESIGNATED DATE AND TIME. THE COUNTY DOES NOT ACCEPT FAXED, ELECTRONIC, OR ORAL PROPOSALS. THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT IS CLOSED ON ALL FRIDAYS.

PROJECT: The purpose and intent of this Request for Proposal is to seek qualification and proposals from interested firms detailing their technical and financial qualifications for design and construction of all work required to design and construct the interior and exterior buildout of the Freeport Business Park and the renovation of the existing Planning Department located within the South Walton Annex for the Planning Department and Tax Collector

To be considered, Firm/Team must submit an original and five (5) copies of RFP in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked with the Firm/Team’s name and address, and the words” DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION FOR THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR BUILD OUT OF FREEPORT BUSINESS PARK AND THE RENOVATION OF THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT AT THE SOUTH WALTON ANNEX” addressed to:
